Shipping & Delivery Policy
This policy explains how parts bought on TechEscrow are collected from Sellers and delivered to Buyers.
1. Who ships
Sellers do not post parcels themselves. After the Buyer has paid, TechEscrow books a pickup from the Seller with an integrated courier partner and the same courier delivers to the Buyer. Shipping is provided through our logistics aggregator and its courier partners.
2. Service area
We deliver to serviceable PIN codes across India. At checkout the Buyer's PIN code is checked and the order cannot be placed if the courier does not serve it. We do not ship outside India.
3. Timeline
- Payment confirmed: the pickup is requested straight away.
- Pickup: normally within 1 to 2 working days. The Seller must keep the parcel packed and ready, and must hand it to the courier on the scheduled date.
- Transit: typically 2 to 7 working days depending on the distance between the two PIN codes, the courier and the season.
- Delivery: the courier marks the parcel delivered, and the Buyer's 48-hour test window begins.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by weather, strikes, festivals, restricted areas or courier operations are outside our control. You can follow the status on the order page in your Deals section.
4. Shipping charges
The shipping charge depends on the parcel weight, its size, and the route. It is shown to the Buyer before payment and is part of the order total. Shipping insurance, based on the value of the part, is included in the order.
5. Packing
Sellers must pack parts securely: anti-static bag for boards, original box or double-box with cushioning, and no loose parts. Read our packing guide. A Seller is responsible for damage that results from inadequate packing.
6. Receiving your parcel
- Check that the outer packaging is intact before accepting. If it is visibly torn, opened or crushed, you may refuse it, or accept it and record this on video.
- We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video without cuts, showing the label, the seal being opened and the part. This is the best evidence in a dispute.
- Courier staff may ask for a delivery OTP. Share it only when the parcel is in your hands.
7. Failed delivery
If delivery fails because the address is wrong, the Buyer is unreachable or refuses a correct parcel without a valid reason, the courier may return the parcel to the Seller. Return charges may then be deducted from the Buyer's refund. Please make sure your address and phone number are correct.
8. Lost or damaged in transit
If the courier loses a parcel or it arrives damaged, tell us within the test window. We will raise the claim with the courier and the Buyer is refunded in full under the Refund & Dispute Policy.
9. Items we do not ship
We do not carry items prohibited by the courier or by law. See Prohibited Items & Conduct.
